  • Because some issues need to be discussed face to face to make recommendations, plans of action etc. Don't freak out until you meet with him.
  • WELL..there could be something on the xray that he needs to discuss with you in person OR he wants to bill the insurance company for an appointment! Don't second guess at this point and get yourself into a dither!
  • They may need you there to explain something to you . Also it is not really ethical to give results on the Telephone. They cannot really be sure they are discussing the medical condition with the correct person.
  • Well, perhaps he wants to be able to catch you when he tells you you actually don't have a spine anymore...
  • Maybe your doctor is too busy with appointments to make phone calls and that's why you need one? My guess would be that when you are discussing x-rays over the phone it might go a little like this: doctor: "this bit here shows..." You: "which bit where?" doctor: "the bit i'm pointing at" You: "well i can't see you" doctor: "better get your ass down here then" :D i wouldn't worry yourself
  • he's scheming something.....and i doubt it's good..watch your back.
  • Would be rather hard to point something out on the x-ray over the phone.
