Mine is the paperclip. It's useful for putting paper together without leaving holes, and it's easy to use. It's also a source of entertainment in the last hours of work. I bend them into fun shapes and put them on display on my desk.

I like whiteboards. They come in handy for making lists (which I do often), and pens because I enjoy writing in my journal.

I don't know why, but I just love staple removers. Maybe it's because if you are bored, you can pretend it is a shark or something coming in for the kill (poor helpless staples!)

post`its and the pencil shaper.electric . with the post its you can write something funny and stick it on your coworker.

Staplers. I love to repeated staple Inter-office envelopes so that no one can open them. lol

Gel ink pens. I have yet to find one that does not leak, especially after staying in a hot automobile or standing up with the point turned down.

Pens. I love finding the best pen to write with. ATM I have found Pilot Precise Grip. I bought mine in purple. I also have the retractable one in black. I also love highliters.

Shredders. They let me do all of the shredding around here. I love the smell of paperdust in the morning, it is the smell of cofinentiality.

Envelopes, I can hide strange messages in them, and post-it notes, attack of the stickie clad knight.

Industrial hole punch or stapler, perfect for people who upset me.

white out tape is my favorite although my labelmaker is pretty cool too.

Post-its!!!!! G-d nothing else compares to them. I have green ones, blue, pink, red, yellow, purple and ones shaped like stars.
