Why are your dogs chained up?

Maybe you should invest in better living conditions for your dogs and stop worrying about your neighbor.

I hope your dogs aren't as hostile and anti-social as you are!

Maybe you could think about bringing your dogs in the house where they will be safe. Your neighbor probably feels sorry for your dogs. That is, if they are always chained up. If I had dogs living on chains next door to me I would have to let them loose too. It's just no life for dogs.
Maybe I am assuming too much, and you only chain them out for brief periods. Which isn't nearly as bad, but they are still at the mercy of mean people and stray dogs if you aren't supervising them.

(What you are suggesting is that you would break the law and trespass, endangering my dogs in a city neighborhood.)

I once rescued my neighbor's dog who was chained to a tree in the pouring rain and whining. I brought him in my house and kept him until they came home. The same neighbor had a rottweiler that broke through the basement window and was outside about to have a heat stroke. I brought her in to cool off and kept her until they came home. Only a coward would worry about breaking the law rather than doing the right thing. Look at the history of our country. Think what society would be like if, throughout our history, no one broke the law to stand up against injustice.

(If I had ever seen you, I would've given you (or him in the act for that matter) the beating of your life.)

You seem to have some anger issues. Really, I was just trying to help your dogs. Many, many communities around the country have passed laws against constant chaining of dogs. Try to empathize with your dogs. Try to imagine what it would be like to have to live your life chained to a box.

(Wow ... that is the most vile, self-righteous and ridiculously presumptuous answer anybody has ever given me on answerbag. Maybe you should get off your high horse and only answer the questions that are asked. You know nothing of me, my dogs or my life ... or my psycho former neighbor. )

I would like to know more about your life and your dog's life.

If you use an Apple computer and have an iSight camera, you can get a program called "SecuritySpy" (from http://www.securityspy.com/). It can be configured to start recording video only when it detects motion and to stop a certain amount of time after it stops detecting motion.

I used it one time to monitor my alley from the window in my office to catch people who were illegally dumping junk in my dumpster. It works great--but it does require daylight, so it only works dawn to dusk. It also probably works best with an external iSight camera (not one built into a laptop).

    Good luck!

    Hmmmm,

Actually you could go with your basic run of the mill cheap nanny-cams, and your baby video monitors and just disguise them outside to catch your neighbor. I would just Google video spy equipment or cheap video recordinding equipment. If not there then even try Ebay for some discount recording equipment. Hope i have been of some help and i hope you catch em!!!
