Help answer this question below.
Sometimes, an officer can bring it on himself or herself, if s/he has any kind of so-called "attitude problem" while dealing with the public.
Nationally, less than 1/2 of 1 percent of all uniformed officers are unworhty of their badges and guns, and that's a better "average" than you'll get from the clergy, believe me.
But, if a citizen is treated rudely by someone we have entrusted with safeguarding our lives, that citzen in turn develops a dislike (and disrespect) not only for the rude officer, but for ALL officers in general, and for the entire legal system, as well.
All because ONE officer either insulted the citizen or needlessly yelled at him/her.
You really can't blame some officers for losing their cool, because many of them are "abuse magnets" and get more crap in one day, than most of us will witness in 20 years.
I'm surprised, to be totally honest with you, that MORE line officers don't "snap" under the strain, more often than they do.

How is it so hard to see that fixing the judicial system first will fix other things?

I think that another big part of the lack of respect for the court system is to blame on the court system.I have a pending child support case where DNA has not been taken I have asked & faught for 15 years now to get DNA testing I keep being denied, finally this year after bringing me up on charges of non-payment and arresting me at my house which tramatized my children and wife, and cost me a job again and money, after 2 different lawyers where hired by me 1 was denied the DNA testing and the other from the county that this is happening in has been able to get the testing now I have to come up with more money being laid-off and 3 charges of felony non-support which I thouhgt was illegal to charge me with the same case 3 times is a form of double jepordy and against constitutional rights they are trying trying to force me to pay when I don't have money right now but told them I will have it in 45 days this county has done nothing to find out the truth they just want to throw me in jail.

they dropped 2 of the charges and brought them back up again how can the courts do this and expect the citizens to respect them when they use us as scape goats and don't try to find out the truth in a case Mind you I was paying cause they have taken it out of my checks for years now and it don't matter to them. Then they tell me I have to move my family back to ohio if I like it or not who and the hell do they think they are to demand anything after treating people like that. And NONE of our so called goverment officals will get involved

Sadly, your story is all too typical, especially when it is man vs. woman, because a woman with kids is "helpless" in the eyes of many heterosexual males who have this instinct to "help out the babe," and no matter what you say or do, you're automatically "the bad guy."

What you need, IMHO, is a GOOD lawyer, and from what you have posted so far (above), you haven't ever had one.

One way to end this crap once and for all, is for you to learn to speak Portuguese, fluently. After that, move to Brazil, where the US Government cannot "touch" you at all, because there is no extradition treaty between the USA & Brazil.
.
That's what former Mustang® Brothel Owner Joe Conforté did. To escape prosecution and liens, he just moved to Rio, and he stays there in a nice apartment, with total impunity. But, he can never return to the USA, or he'll be arrested, the second he steps off the aircraft. His wife goes down there frequently to be with him, because she can travel anywhere.
