Considering how many times the USA has used their veto to counter NATO resulutions that are not in favor of Israel -- are all other NATO countries anti-semitic?

• Interesting point. I had come to the same conclusion myself, regarding the relationship between Israel and the US. It seems the "special relationship" applies much more to that which exists between those two countries than between the US and the UK, which has never been more ancillary, more redundant or more subordinate to US foreign policy in its history. Take the Afghanistan War, for example - we are the only European country still there fighting alongside US forces. Germany and France pulled out almost a year ago. Yet when it comes to America extending the same degree of cooperation and understanding to Britain, we see very little in the way of equal treatment - take the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and the ritual media onslaught of its British chairman, Tony Hayward.
  
  BUT, my question to you is this. It's clear what Israel stands to gain from US support - the development of otherwise illegal nuclear weapons to counter the threat of the Arab world (notably Iran). But what does the US stand to gain by pandering to Jews? In what way does Israel help America?

• Well the relationships between Israel and the USA seem to be very special and as a German I never would dare to give any comment about this relationship of two foreign country.
  The only thing I really know that Germany should leave the NATO and become a neutral country.
  Why the USA and Israel have such an extremely special relationship seems to be the secret of those two countries and their governments.
