don't tell her you slipped roofies in her drink
don't tell your parents that there are no parents there
don't have a shortage of chairs and seats
don't pass out with your shoes on
don't invite the divorced couple
Do: Inviting a guest and his/her companion.
Don't: Asking to bring a gift per guest.
Do have the conversation with all round you when in the party and participate with them.
Do not drink or hurt anybody feelings during the party going on .and do not fight for the something.
Do make sure the bar is fully stocked. Do NOT invite keithold if you want it to stay that way for the evening. ;-)
When a guest brings food/wine to your party, is it okay for them to take those items back home with them?

Isn't it rude for someone to "tell" me to sing for them (I'm a singer) at my own dinner party? Isn't preparing a meal for them enough?

If I know a dinner guest is left-handed, do I set their place with the silverware the opposite way, or use the usual formal setting?
