  • "Truth is on the side of the oppressed" - Malcolm X
  • Yes, and every eye sees differently.
  • I disagree with such a broad, "blanket" statement. All humans are imperfect, and our judgment of truth can be corrupted at times as each of us fails sometimes to be objective. How much better it is to rely on a more solid, purer and higher standard such as that of God. The psalmist said of Jehovah God: “Your law is truth. . . . All your commandments are truth. . . . The substance of your word is truth”!—Psalm 119:142, 151, 160. Jesus Christ echoed the words of that psalm when he said in prayer to Jehovah: “Your word is truth.” (John 17:17) The truth can be found in God’s Word, the Bible. That is where we should look for it.
  • Percy Byshe Shelly said that Beauty is Truth and Truth is Beauty. However, you are confusing the dictim. What is said is: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." And, yes, it is. So is much of what is defined as "truth," for that matter.
  • this is true espesialy of me cuz i tend to see truth where most people wont even look
  • I much prefer "Beauty is in the eyes of the BEERholder." That seems much more valid in my life... Sad but true statement. :(
  • Disagree I do not think every eye beholds the truth at times.
  • Disagree. Perception is in the eye of the beholder, but truth is not. Truth is just that: truth. No one can fudge it. I can view it through a specific lense, but that is perception.
  • I cannot tell the truth, I am not good looking at all, I am also blind so I think no part of this question pertains to me. mR BIll
  • Ask Emily Dickinson. She seems to think they're exactly the same thing.
  • "Truth" is a universal concept, which cannot be restricted to "beholders only." +5
