There are two types of sweat glands, the ones that put out salty water, and the ones that put out oil. There are several ways to make your skin slightly more oily so the thin layer of oil on your skin will seal and keep the moisture in the skin. One good way is to add a bit of a "desert" pepper to some of your food. There are many types of spices and herbs that will cause a slight physiological change, helping our body to better tolerate the weather of the day. Peppers cause the body to throw off heat and to sweat. Jungle peppers cause salty water sweat and will allow the skin to dry out. Desert peppers cause oily sweat and will trap moisture inside the skin. An anti-perspirant will cause the opposite effect and will dry your skin ... so decrease the amount of anti-perspirant and increase the amount of desert pepper.

get some epaderm from the chemist, see your doc about some mild hydrocortisone. you need to look at the causes for your dry skin, its even caused by food alergy! have a vit e suppliment helps your body repair skin.
Have you tried applying some Jerkins?
Go see a dermatologist (I think I spelled that right).
there are special ointments you can get for that, but you have to get it from a doctor

You're reading I am a person with very dry skin. My eye lids get so dry sometimes that they itch badly. I scratch them a lot ( yes, I know I shouldn't do that) and the eyes become infected What is the best remedy for treatment of them?
