My favorite scary story is actually a "silly" scary story called "The Viper." It's not the really nasty and scary one about a snake. . .it's different and a lot of fun and a good story to tell to get scared and then get some relief.

Around the camp fire I tend to play any song my friends can sing along to.
Usually classic hits by Neil Young, Tom Petty, The Stones, Beatles and I always play a few Dr. Hook tunes.

There's something magical about being around the campfire. I like stories and even the singing but most importantly being around friends and people that you love. Talking and sharing our lives together around the fire.

I'm not allowed to sing. Something about I can't carry a tune in a bucket with a lid. But we do tell stories. We usally tell the one about Little Red Shoes. It's about a couple who find a baby in the snow nad raise it as their own. Then the baby gets kidnapped by a Hag that comes to the inn they run. Later in the spring they find the bones of both of them in a cave. They say that to this day you can still see the little red shoe prints of the little girl in the snow where the inn once stood. Another favorite is about a judge in Boston who had an affair. When he got caught he accused the woman of being a witch who put a spell on him. She was innocent. And at her exacution she vowed that she would dance on his grave. After the judge died a woman's shoe print appeared on his headstone. This happened every time the family replaced the stone. They say it's still there to this day.
