It could be the picture of the people they are looking up, if they are married or divorced, if they have children and if they have a good job. I know that when I met my husband on the internet in 1997, pictures were rare if there were any, married or divorced was important as I didn't want to intrude in a current or recently broken up relationship and I chose to meet someone without children as I wanted a family of my own and often if someone already has children, the level of interest in having more is diminished if not non-existent. As for the job, I didn't care as I knew I had a good one and didn't need anyone to provide for me.

I'll tell you what I get tired of is women posting "I have kids if you don't like it then don't bother me". Men like kids to so why be negative about it. It's on all your womens profiles I would be hard pressed not to find one that didn't have it posted.
