    He wrote a ton of confusing, allegorical quatrains with all sorts of threatening, dark symbology. As far as I know, nobody has ever figured out what any of them mean and warned in advance of an impending disaster then actually been proven right. After a major disaster, Nostradamus 'experts' pour over his writings till they match up some set of symbols to what actually happened, then confidently declare that "Nostradamus foresaw this!"

    Until his writings predict something BEFORE it actually happens I'm not willing to say he predicted anything.
