It's great, for people who actually oppose such vigorous partisanship.

Let them enact this "purity test", and they'll literally implode, as nearly all political parties which refuse to adapt alongside societal changes, tend to do.

I am totally in favor of it. Candidates who "pass" the purity test will be so far to the right, they will alienate the middle moderates and hand the elections over to the Democrats.

I think it is bad, reason being:

you have items on the list that the Republican party has tried to solve, with old ideas, for instance, the republican response to energy independence, "Drill Here, Drill Now".

double talk, double standards, speak on health care, the last Republican health care bill was the 2003, Medicare Modernization Act, which basically tried to change medicare into a privatize medical insurance, and now they use this argument to say that the prices will go up for seniors, no %^$#, you made them buy insurance!

And last but not least, remember, it was Reagan that funded the Taliban!!!

I think that's a reasonable demand. While it's not overdoing it by wanting them to agree with all of them, they are making sure their truly representing their opinions.

Frankly I like the idea of inflexible limitations on GOP political candidates because it helps to alienate them from the values of the electorate.
