Well, I don't think it would fly in front of a criminal-court judge.
It means, "I'll do whatever I feel like doing."
It's an OK expression in my mind, but doesn't "cut it" with Atheists, I imagine.

Translation: I don't have to explain myself to you, nor do I need your approval.
It sounds like someone doesn't want to be judged. However, I think they've also misread the Bible. The Bible doesn't say don't judge. It says deal with your own sin first. It doesn't mean that you are to have no judgement. It doesn't mean that you are never to rebuke someone else. It means that you should judge and rebuke yourself first. You should discipline yourself. You should constantly be searching yourself for sin and confessing that to God. You should take the log out of your own eye before taking the speck out of someone else's eye.
No use to me; God doesn't grant due process rights.
i have 'only god can judge me' tattoed on my chest, and i dont believe in god.
to me, it just says 'i dont care what you say, im guna do watever i want, listen to watever i want, and nothing you can say can make me change my mind'
it has relevance to me, in that i used to care what people thought or what they said. they'd say 'this music is shit' or something like that, so i'd turn it off. now, im blasting metal right in their faces and they can't do shit about it. The quote reminds me to not listen to people that say your choices are lesser than theirs.
i dont analyse it too much. i just take it for wat it is.
If there were a god, that stance would actually make more sense than the predominant meek humbleness.
I like the sound of it very much but it just is not what happens.
However much we as individuals try not to judge others we do.
If we are fair we try to even out our bias but some people feel they have every right to judge others by much higher standards than they themselves are able to attain.
It would be nice to believe that Society has no right to judge us, it would give the unethical the carte- blanche to behave in any manner they desired.
I wish that were the case, but sadly everybody and their auntie finds it fit to judge me. That's life.
Who is this god you speak of? The only judgments I encounter in my life are from others on this planet.
