Andrew Lloyd Webber's first play/musical was "The Likes of Us," with the lyrics of course written by Tim Rice. The musical was never performed, even at the request of a small Oxford student theatre group.

Their first actual production was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1968.

Andrew Lloyd Webber was a composer. Do you mean his first musical? Or his first successful musical? (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) This site gives some good info: http://www.8notes.com/biographies/lloyd%20webber2.asp
