Am I allowed to use it to pay off debts?  If so, that's where some of it is going.  Then I'd buy a house, and possibly a new car.

If I wasn't allowed to use any of it initially toward my debts, then I'd later take out a long-term loan against the equity in my new fully-paid-for house, and use that to pay off my debts.  That'd still leave me in debt by the same amount, but at least it'd be in a more manageable form.

I suppose selling the house afterward, and buying a slightly cheaper house, and using the difference to pay my debts would cause that initial purchase of the more expensive house to constitute “investing” and thus be prohibited by the terms of this question.

I would buy my family a home of our own (finally).
Send my daughter to Greece, where she could have her dream vacation. Take my mom to Hawaii, so she can see some of the beauty in this world. Then I would secretly find people who need a little financial help and give them some.

A million doesn't go very far anymore. You could blow it on one house or one car. I'd go for big chunk of rural or wilderness land, preferably in Canada's British Columbia coastal area. If I could find a nice log home in the mountains along a small lake, that would be fine too. It doesn't need road access either. Float plane is just fine.

I would buy thousands of buisnesses, keep the managers, thousands of hotels, rent them out to the managers, invest in the stock market. Then give me a year and the money that will come back to me through investments and through the hotels and realestate that I own I will get two million. YeY!

First of all, I would pay off my debt....that would be a few thousand. Then, I would move to a modest house and get every new appliance imaginable. Next, I would get a whole new wardrobe for my husband and I. I would buy him a new car probably a lincoln. I would get a nice wedding band for me. I would buy a lot of gold to sell later. I would buy my puppy sassy every toy possible, treats, ect. I would then pay every bill way in advance. I would get a real cell phone, tv, and internet. I would spoil my neice and nephews too much, give money to appropriate ppl, plan some vacation time, hire a maid, gardener, cook, and butler. Join the country club, gym, and go to tech school. Buy new comforters, blankets, pillows, towels, decor, and plants. Go to Walmart and buy everything I want. Go back to lv and visit. Have another wedding renewing our vows. Buy car, apt rent for 1year, and other nessecities for my big bro. Buy other vacas, tons of gift cards for EVERYWHERE. And just live it up.(:

Houses... real estate... something I could make a profit off of to make a living and have extra to donate to charities. It's like investing... but not to the extent that it would be against the rules.

I'd buy a couple of small houses for my boys. A car each for them also. Set up the college funds for all four kids, buy 3 lorries and 2 vans for the business, pay off the debts, especially my university loan, buy some furniture and some good art and a holiday.

I'm not so sure I'd donate much, I've always given a portion of my income so with the extra vehicles I'm sure we could give a bit more!

A hippie van (or bus) which I would then pimp to the fullest with any little additions I want. Fridge, carpet, futon...that kind of thing. Then I'd buy a loft or somewhere nice to live in NYC and if i had anything left, I'd buy something useless that I could sell later, so that I retain some money when I actually need it.

I would pay off min and my parents and my friends debts. then buy a party van with all the trimmings. and a little house somewhere for my home base. the rest I would spend on a video camera, tape recorder(for special music), a whole lot of booze, and drugs. Then spend the rest on gas(stockpile it) At the end of the 24 hours I will go on the greatest roadtrip in history.

I'd give it all to a relative and ask them to hold onto it for a day... then after my 24 hours is up, I'd take the money back, deposit it/invest it.
    LOL
I'd shoot the relative a few bucks for the favor. Maybe buy him/her a yaught...
