Help answer this question below.

My phone went through the washing machine about 3 months ago. It has been sitting in its box ever since. Everything on it works except the main screen on the inside just stays white. Is there any way it can be fixed?

    A good guess is that the display unit got water inside it. They are designed to be reasonably watertight from the outside, but not to be completely submerged and put through a wash cycle. :)

    Take it into a repair facility specializing in that brand of phone and ask them if it's worth repairing or cheaper to just replace.
