If I am on birth control but also taking antibiotics and the guy ejaculates inside of me, are the chances of getting pregnant greater or less than if I was only using condoms and not on the pill?

If you're taking antibiotics that makes the birth control less effective. There would be a high chance of you becoming pregnant, which is why providers suggest that if you do have intercourse, you must use a different means of contraception. If you decide to have intercourse while on antibiotics, just make sure you use a back up, whatever that may be.

If you were taking antibiotics, I doubt that will have an effect on whether or not you become pregnant, if you are only using condoms (w/o birth control). It has nothing to do with how your body reacts, as in the case of taking pills would. I'm no gyno though, so I'm not sure. Generally speaking, pills are more effective in pregnancy prevention than condoms are. That is, without use of any other meds while on birth control.

Being on birth control and taking meds is a bad combo if you don't wanna get pregnant. That's how my girlfriend got pregnant. Don't get me wrong I love my son to death( he's 7 months) but if you don't want a baby I would suggest a condom

Your chances are greater because birth control and antibiotics cancel out each other. Either way you are taking a chance.
Keep that in mind when taking meds and on the pill.

I'd say less, because although antibiotics CAN cause the pill to not work, there's still the chance that it could work.

have mercy love :( forgive me.

It will always be safer with the pill. Comparing the two, condoms have a tremendously larger chance of failure against pregnancy.

Statistically, assuming perfect use, the pill is more effective at preventing pregnancy than condoms. However, if properly used, the chance of you getting pregnant with your partner wearing a condom is still very small, so I wouldn't worry too much. Just make sure you continue to use condoms for a whilse after you stop the antibiotics to give the pill time to get back to work.
