Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 2002 VW Jetta with about 150k miles. The temperature coolant signal comes on when I start my car and remains on. I checked the coolant level and it's fine, but the light still comes on. Any ideas?

It could be a problem with the sensor or circuit, assuming that you don't actually have an overheating engine. Does your temperature gauge ever change readings? Is it at the correct temp when it should be, and cold when it should be? If you said no, sounds like sensor or circuit.
