Is it legal for a 17 year old girl to date a 18 year old man without any legal problems?

It is not illegal for a 17 year old to date an 18 year old at all. The part that is considered illegal would be to have sex with the 18 year old if you are 17. Even then that rule differs by state, in some states it may not be illegal so you should check. The one major thing you must remember though is that if your parents don't like him for any reason they can charge with with rape. They can do it for any reason, or no reason, and they can do it against your will. If that happens he will be a registered sex offender in all 50 states for having sex with a minor...that will pretty much ruin his life so you have to be careful, and make sure your parents at least like him before you go for it
