I think your answer was straight forward, I don't see how anyone could misinterpret your style. You make a point of making it blunt, but not rude. The comments in question were already gone, but I'll bet you were in the right.

although now the "bad comments" have I think been removed... but as far as I have read your replies and questions till date, I find you to be a rational honest girl (lady) as far as this particular thread is concerned I found your answer and comments correct and absolutely fine

Well a CL deleted whatever comment it was that you reacted to Shemarq. Your answer could be my answer since I find whiners/complainers/moaners/groaners/woe-is-me ers tiresome. So of course I find nothing wrong with your answer. If you can ignore those who are rude to you by simply not responding you will starve them of what they seek which is your reaction.
