I have a 1998 Ford Taurus and have just replaced the heater core. HOWEVER, the heater air does not get warm. Does it need a new thermostat?

To check your thermostat, remove it from the vehicle. Drop it into a pot of boiling water, and it should move to the open position. If this has no effect, you may need a new one.
