People who complain to their kids and use them as counselors in divorce are selfish, immature and pathetic. In the extreme. I have a relative who does this with me...its horrifying.
Tell the parents to leave him alone when it comes to complaining. Tell them to get themselves a counselor if that is what they need.
Be a good listener. Tell him not to relay messages between parents. Take him out of the house (away from parents/stress) to do fun stuff.
