If you rate the answers you receive, do you give points to each answer since that person took time to answer your question, or do you only give points if the answer was helpful to you?

I rate all of them unless the answer is rude or total nonsense. If it wasn't helpful I usually just do a +1 or+2 whereas everyone else gets maximum.

Yes I give points to everyone that answer my questions. I also give points to every question I answer and any other answers that I think are good clever or witty.
