    Nothing, same old same old. Why spend money on a team that makes it in spades without spending it on improving things? There's a rabid fan base that sells out every game and willing to pay insane prices for the privilege of simply saying they were at the ACC watching a game. That's like bragging about your million dollar house, model wife, full five car garage and expensive cottage.
    It's truly an honor in Toronto. :)
    Personally, the way they seem to plan it that they tank in the beginning of the season to get a rallying thing going, crawl up the standings to be within reach of a playoff berth, make as much money as they can off everything team related while they're at that spot and then tank again but not badly enough to earn some good draft picks for the next season. Why spend that money when you know your fans will stand in front of a bullet for you?
    Sad but true and I'm guilty as hell.

    My guess is there's a lot wrong right now, everything from: lack of experienced players, lack of real skill players outside of Phil Kessel and Tomas Kaberle, a serious lack in leadership in the dressing room (they need a captain), more consistant goatending. Maybe the team just isn't listening to coach wilson.
