How can I remove residual stickiness from large areas of carpet, left after adhesive carpet film protector sheets were removed?

    Nothing. This was the type of clear film they use to protect carpeting from traffic & dirt. It was actually adhered on top of the carpet, & meant to be pulled off within 30 days of application...I think it was left n longer though, because it left some stickiness behind.
