Indeed. It didn't use to bother me quite so much, until I thought about it. AB is significantly more complicated and less well-known than Google. Surely anyone who can find AB and figure out how to ask a question is able to go to Google and search.

It used to. But life is too short. I just go on to the next one.
-
Yes, but not too much. I figure they're just lazy.

I find it confuddling, but it only annoys me when the question is an important one, like having to do with a medical concern or something authoritative or anyway just something important. It annoys me and upsets me and angers me that people don't have the resources (well, aren't aware of the resources available to them) to find definitive answers to their important questions and would instead rely on hearsay or the common knowledge (ie. ignorance) of the rabble. But really it isn't them I'm annoyed at, because really I think there's some pathos there, I mean it's *sad* that they ask those kinds of questions here. It's society that I'm mad at, the general social order and how people are treated within it.
-
no because i'm sure there are AB'ers who enjoy the human connection involved here and of course there are those who can put understanding into their words the google search can't.

It's not as much a problem here. Wiki answers seem s to be 99% lazy high school students trying to get their homework done without working or learning anything. . On the other hand, AB seesm to be much worse for people who can't spell! I don't mean simple typos but items so mispelled they are even hard to understnad.

No not at all. This site was at one time considered a Knowledge database and I think it is great that some people ask questions that are actually factually answered and help to add just a little knowledge to that base. Without those questions this is just a Social exchange of opinions.

Not at all. Keithold asks such questions and most of the time I enjoy looking up the info and learning something.
