St John's Wort is supposed to be good, but can interfere with prescription drugs, so you'd need to check it out fully before you tried it.

I found a site that says something called 5-HTP is supposed to be a mood stablizer, it sounds a little fishy to me, you be the judge:

5-HTP which is what they copied to make prozac, except It is safer, it works, and non addicting. Also, there is something called nerve blend, which has Valarian in it. You do not want to take Valarian alone, it makes alot of people irritable. That is good for spells :) I believe the best way to handle the whole thing is with angstrom minerals, myself
