"Panties" as in everyday wear, no. However they wear tights under their leotards or tutus which serve the same purpose as wearing a panty and does make a panty line.
Yes. Ususally you may wear high cut dancing briefs. But "panties", no. Simply because it's unflattering and distracting while you're performing. Plus it's a dance no-no...dancers know that they shouldn't wear underwear while performing unless it's that time of the month.

Can anybody ever compare to Bob Fosse? His style of dance is so unique and recognizable. He used the whole body, hands and chorus?
