  • No relatuonship should not be taken seriously on line ,beuse one never know the feelings of the person on the line and i would prefer to have the physcial contact with the person. on line one sees the beautiful face and in realities she/he might be much older person and some on line are wearing mask and try to fool around just to kill time,so it is waste of time.
  • no,if its online then its a scam of some sort
  • If there isn't any physical contact or RL encounter, then it's best to discard such "relationship". It's pretty much useless trying to flirt with someone by textual content only. You'll never be able to experience that extraordinary feeling, of being with someone, kissing her.
  • Hell no. Unless you actually know the person in real life as well then anything anyone says could be a meaningless lie. +3
  • Yes, why not? Relationships are made up of a variety of sense experiences. It's true that online you don't have a physical interaction with someone, but you have access to their thoughts and the chance to discuss things freely without the distractions of normal life. They could of course portray themselves in a way that they wouldn't in a personal interaction, but even when you meet someone in person you can never be sure if you're seeing the 'real' person, or the person they want you to see. We all choose what to show and what not to show to others, whether we do that online or in person, and I don't see why corresponding with someone is any less valid than having a personal interaction. It's different, but there's no reason why it can't be taken seriously.
  • As a matter a fact, yes i Do
  • There are automatic boundaries when it's only online so I don't think it's possible to take it as seriously as in real life. I'm crazy about some people online (one in particuliar) but it's still sometimes a lot like looking through glass.
  • They probably can't be. That is so unfortunate since online is the only place I can socialize. +5
