If you think there is, I request that you find it and share it. The Bible does not contain ALL truth. And don't give me those scriptures that you think say it is complete, because those scriptures were written before the Bible was assembled in its present-day form; before the New Testament was written even. They refer to "Scripture" in general, not to the Bible in specific. God has certainly revealed truth to more people in the history of the world than is captured in the Bible. An angel may be a person without their physical body, either because they have not yet been born or because they have died and not yet been ressurrected, or it may be a person who has already been ressurrected. In either case, an angel is a child of God like you and me. It may also be interesting to know that persons/angels may only reveal themselves to others in their mortal state under direction of our Father in Heaven. It is also possible that spirits (persons without bodies) who are not angels can reveal themselves to people on earth. These are children of God who were cast down to the earth in the pre-mortal life because of their decision to follow Lucifer rather than Christ. The purpose of these spirits is to deceive and blind us from the truth. God allows them to provide opposition so that we may be presented with good and evil and be tested and proved. Such a spirit is not an angel, but may *appear* as one. In the rare circumstance that you have a personage appear to you and you are unsure of his intentions, ask to shake his hand. If it is a ressurected being, he will offer his hand and you will be able to feel it like a normal hand. If it is a spirit from God he will refuse, knowing that you cannot feel him. If it is a servant of sin, he will offer his hand and you will not feel it.

The belief in Angels is sweet. I adore the thought of having Angels as personal protectors. I have even been saved by Angels when I was in a situation where the only explanation could be some unseen force had rescued me. My only concern about believing in Angels is when I hear of some child who was kidnapped and raped and tortured. Then, I stop and cry and say "why didn't an Angel come and save the dear little child?" Can someone point out to me in that situation...Why? Sorry, I didn't even submit an answer to the question. The Bible does not say anything AGAINST angels intereacting with us, as noted by a previous commenter, but it will NOT be the 'Nephilim' who were the progeny born of angels that forsook their place in heaven to come to earth and have relations with ordinary women. They were one of the main reasons that God caused the Flood. To rid the earth of them and wickedness rife at that time. God's angels are certainly out there at all times.He was never alone , not even when HE CREATED. I don't believe they appear anymore , like when they shut the lions mouth and saved Daniel. I met a man today who said he was a messanger an angel he appeared to be a motor cycle person and his leater jacket had unique symbols on the back and along the sleeve. He drew me a circular diagram with 9 points along the circumfrence and he interconnected various points such as 9,6 & 3 and 4,2,8 and 5 and 4,1,7 and 5. He stated I think that there are 7 archangels or main angels and that 360 degrees divided by the 7 = 51.428571 degrees and this is the centre of the earth some where in Egypt and that an inbalance has occured due to some base stones or some outer stones that have been removed form a side of one of the Pyramids...Carol can you help me with this. thanks Murray

According to what I gather, angles normally just look like great looking humans. I don't know where people got the idea that they ever had wings. It doesn't say that in the bible, it just states that they fly.

I worked at a cosmetic counter in a small business area of a rather small town. Most of our customers were regulars I knew. This woman came in. She seemed about 10 yrs. older than me at the time. She was pretty and very high on life. Very, Very, Very Bubbly and happy. Vibrant and Excited to be alive! No worries! She had nice skin, was clean and pretty gold hair with soft ringlets. Truthfully she seemed kinda weird to me. People just don't normally act that way. Laugh! I guess most people I'm around must be grumpy. This occurred before I became a strong committed Christian. Anyway, she bought some really expensive clear lip gloss she could've gotten anywhere for a lot less and said she was going to bring me back a Bible. I thought that was kinda strange since we had hardly spoken and to be like she was with me just seemed odd. I just couldn't help but look at her and think, your kinda weird. I could tell she knew what I was thinking with the look on her face as she looked away. Laugh! Usually when I talk a little with a stranger I just go on my way, so this was different for me. Anyway, within a few weex she showed back up with a Bible. She laughed and said, "You didn't think I'd be back did you!" I just stared at her like that again and thanked her. What else could I do? I didn't think much of it and went on, but I didn't read the Bible. Later, maybe not quite a year later, a woman came in. She was basically really roughing it. I didn't ask, but I got the idea she was trying to make it on her own all by herself in the world with a sucky job, seemed like one of those kinda people who was on the run and trying to start a new life 4 some reason. She told me she didn't have any money at all and asked me to PLEASE help her. She stressed, "PLEASE PEOPLE PLEASE !!" I recall her saying on the verge of crying. I got the idea with what little money she made, she had to spend to live, like on a room and food and stuff. I had a deep compassion sweep over me to help her. I gave her what I could to help her with free samples of cosmetics, cleansers, shampoos and stuff. A whole big bag full. I just wanted to hug her, I thought I was gonna cry too. Anyway, she was so grateful then left. (This was different for me, I hadn't always been treated well growing up and in my teens so it was hard for me to have compassion for others for a long time.) I realized later, that woman looked just like the first woman. Same hair, eyes, face and everything! I swear it was her!! Just the second time around with a scroungy appearance and very sad and unhappy. The more I thought about it...I KNOW IT WAS HER ! IT WAS THE SAME WOMAN !! The first time she came around all nice & happy & even gave me a bible and I thought she was weird. All she was doing was just acting how people should act, happy and carefree. I looked back at shame with my thinking pattern. The second time she came, normally a store owner would run somebody like that off, but I wanted to help her however I could. I can't help but wonder if she was an Angel sent to test me and how I would treat a soul who needed my help. Look at how I had acted to her before. By testing me to see how I would treat a person like her going through the hard times she was. Instead of staring at her like I had before, I felt a mercy inside of me take over. I know this sounds crazy but I believe it. I've wondered if she was my Guardian Angel?

I like Takei's answer. Wouldn't it seem they can present themselves in whatever form they desire, including human? We may all be from different faith bases, but that doesn't seem to matter when it comes to sightings and angel experiences. If it takes other dimensional beings, angels or otherwise, to bring us together isn't that a good thing? In most of the accounts I've read (which obviously isn't all of them) where people believe they have encountered an angel they are described as human. It's curious though, because in some of the sacred texts they seem to be able to present a gentle and benevolent side and yet a terrible side as well. It also seems that they always have a specific purpose. In many of the stories I've read where they interact with humans, I find it interesting that they often begin by saying, "Fear not." I've tried to put myself in that position and imagine how I would react. I love the idea of angels appearing in human form, but what if they don't always? Maybe that wouldn't be so bad.

I have met many people whom I consider to be angels..they are all around us. Whether they have wings and can fly is irrelevant to me..they are here, they are loving and helpful, and they are good. That's what counts.

I met a girl named Bec once in a clothing store who was working alone and she was the MOST beautiful, stunning, amazing looking young woman i have EVER seen or met. I was STARSTRUCK. Her energy was extremely good and light and every time she smiled she seemed to radiate amazing energy. Ive been back to that store since but shes nowhere to be found. I sometimes wonder if she could have been an angel..... because the way she spoke to me and how she knew so much about me when I hadnt told her anything....it was as if she already knew me... I do believe in angels coming to earth in human form. I do. I am a christian, and I honestly believe I was meeting my guardian angel in human form that day... because she even predicted what would happen to me in the future... and it happened... freaky!
