Look at the key next to the power button on the top row. It should show either Print screen or PrtSc. Press it then go into PAINT and "paste" it. Once its there you can manipulate it, save it, move it to Word whatever you want to do.

I use Wisdom Soft Screenhumter, but there are lots of screen capture freeware programs out there. Here's a good selection:

You know what a keyboard is right?

Above the [delete] key, there should be a key that says [prt scr SysRq] or something like that. Press it to take a screen snapshot and paste it into photoshop or paint or any graphics software.

Well, in Windows, with no other tools, press the "print screen" button, open the paint program, then paste the contents of the clipboard into the image.

If you want the entire screen press the Print Screen key on the keyboard. If you just want the currently active window, for example a dialog box) hold down the Alt key as you press Print Screen. Then paste (Control + v) into the program you want to use it in.

Press the PrtScrn button on your keyboard.
Open Paint or some other graphics program.
Press Control + v on your keyboard to paste the image.
    Save it.

If you only want the active window hold down Alt as you press PrtScrn.

On your keyboard, look for the "Print Screen/SysRq" key. Then just paste it on paint or something, and you have your screen shot. (I took the picture using this method. I know it's small, but it isn't that small when you do it. I made it small.)

"Alt + Print Screen" captures the active window for you to paste.

Hopefully you're using a desktop computer. There's a key on your keyboard called "Print Screen SysRq" or something similar. It's located above your number pad on the right on your keyboard. Press it to take a snapshot. Then paste it (ctrl+v) in a graphics software (could be paint) and save it either as a Jpeg or another format.

It's worth adding that holding down the Alt key as you press PrtScn copies just the active window.

If you are on a PC, just press the Print Screen button and then paste it into a document of some sort.

If you are on a Mac, press alt/shift/3 and it will place a .png file of your screen on your desktop . . . press 4 rather than three if you want just a part of what is on screen and little cross hairs will come up.

You can, alternatively, use SnagIt 8; it does a whole lot more than the traditional print screen key. For instance, it can capture an entire scrolling webpage.

As it's been said already, printscreen and put into paint.

Or if you have vista there is a gadget for your sidebar named "Gshot". Very nice app, will take a screenshot, save it auto or upload to a website auto.
