    there are wide vatiety of genre for metal if u go into hardcore than there would be screaming try listening to heavy metal or even power metal like stratovarius they are damn good ,try slayer , pantera ,falkenbach there are lots of them i think u'll get the idea.

    Bullet for my valentine are a band i'm hearing a lot of lately, thanks to my son..he's into hardcore metal and they don't scream that much.
