SAAB should expire if it cannot adapt to changes in demand and produce cars that the public wants to buy. Unfortunately it was owned by General Motors for some time. GM has relied on brand management rather than vehicle performance to sell product and this philosophy was applied to SAAB too. So much so that GM placed the SAAB label on vehicles designed by GM and other GM subsidiaries rather than use the design talent at SAAB. The engineering qualities which once made SAAB cars desirable are no longer present in the cars or company.

Darn. I thought it would have been cool if Koenigsegg owned SAAB. Oh well, I've never really been interested in their cars anyways. They seem pretty insignificant in the automotive market. Oh well, the Swedes will always have Volvo.

Me I think it should die a noble death, but I leave that to the Swedes.

It doesn't really bother me if it does as long as my Acura company stays put. I love my Acura TL. +4
