Can I use the word "Steelers" on chocolate or cookies without using the team logo and with infringing on the trademark? If I cannot use "Steelers" What about "Go Steelers" or using a players last name "Ward"?

    You're walking on thin ice, and the fact that you are trying different variations AND the last name of the awesome Mr. Heinz Ward proves that you know it. You could, however, try to get permission. If you contact the team directly, or their PR person I guess, you may be pleasantly surprised, especially if you are doing something for non profit.
    If you're trying to turn a buck, on the other hand, you should probably just forget it and call your cookies something else that isn't associated with the NFL. Judges frown on that sort of thing.
