    They went into war because the British were impressing all the sailors into the British Navy.

    1. Our military, especially the navy, that could back-up things like the Monroe Doctrne.

    2. The British was impressing US citizens into the British navy. That is, boarding US flagged ships and seizing Americans into British Naval service.
