Help answer this question below.
If you take care of basic maintenance, you should get at least 200,000 miles out of that vehicle.
Phhht!
Sorry, but I have to stop laughing before I can answer....
Okay, better now. The answer is no.
That is only about 16K miles a year, which is less than I drive. I've had Hondas with >200K on them and those were the old ones that were not built as well as the ones like yours that came out 15 years later.
Not at all. That's about how many miles it should have on it. Hondas are great cars. It should last until it has at least 200,000 miles.
I have a friend who has one with 180K on it and it still looks and runs great. If it has been properly cared for, there's a lot of life left in that Accord.
most new 2000+ hondas can run 300K+ easy, im sure in a few years it will be upto 400K miles.
Not on a --> Honda :P
Not anymore. The newer cars are usually lasting over 200,000 miles. I have a minivan with 220,000 miles on it, my wife has as Escort with about the same. The Escort had a new engine at 197,000. So the Honda is only about half used up!
Not at all. When properly maintained Honda engines will run for hundreds of thousands of miles. I know somebody who's up at 350K miles and still running strong.
On the east coast, likely. Here in the "Golden State", hardly!
