Help answer this question below.
It is an outmoded tribal need that we have evolved out of. It is not the way of enlightenment.
The one has nothing to do with the other. Train a cat to be compassionate and she will still eat a mouse.
Compassion,in a nutshell,is human kindness expressed in a practical and real way to all creatures large and small.
Therefore, obviously, the killing of animals--our dear brothers and sisters of the animal kingdom--is a most heinous evil thing, and to profit from their killing by wearing trinkets or furs or alligator shoes,or merely for food on a plate is not something which the spiritually-attuned individual would ever countenance or condone. Amen.
I fail to see what the umbrella term of compassion has to do with eating animals.
More compassionate than a slow death by starvation from over population.
no it's not it's a matter of survival for many that live in the wilderness

Any time I come out in defense of animal rights a bunch of low level creeps attack me. Let's see if we can draw them out. I can see them attacking me for something that pissed them off, but this? Sad.
