  • I haven't seen the film, but I've heard about it from people who have, and I get the feeling it would just piss me off. Like movies like Deep Impact or DaVinci Code. . I've been into 2012 theory since 2002 when I began studying the Mayan calender. The whole thing is ridiculous - the only way people could take it seriously is if they haven't studied enough to know what they're talking about. . On the flip side, it is interesting to note that NASA believes the sun underwent a polar shift in 2001 and theorizes it may shift back in 2012 - that's the only semi-concrete basis for 2012 being interesting, imo. . Anyway, the whole thing is far more interesting scientifically than it is spiritually. As much as turning into "light beings" would be cool and all. But if your spiritual health comes from a prophesy or, even scarier, a movie, then you've got way bigger problems than your spirituality.
  • No, not at all..there has been countless predictions about the end of the world and none of them were right.. Besides the Mayans themselves never believed the world was going to end in 2012..they just couldn't keep calculating their calendar forever..they had to stop sometime..
  • Well I don't believe one bit of it. We are not gods to decide the future of our earth. Howz that?? Lovingly Maggge.
  • DUPLICATE NUMBER 300 Every freaking week the same lame question. Get over it already.
