Global Warming, if it's even really man-made (it's not), won't destroy the world, it'll destoy the humans. The enviroment isn't fragile, it'll recover eventually.
Poverty is much more immediate, with much more immediate results. It's much more in our best interest to put effort into preventing that.

Poverty definatly. Global warming is a natural cycle and is almost impossible to stop. It will also be cheaper to stop poverty.

Proverty. Global warming is the rich man's trick to make money. They are trying to make the world spend money on using clean coal technology and other stuff to reduce carbon dioxide so that a new kind of revenue for rich man is generated and they get back the money they spent on researching tech like solar panel.
