That's when most people feel lonely. That is why people feel the need to talk to other people when there are a bunch of them in an area, so they aren't obviously all alone. But they feel like it anyway.

Yes, even in a room full of family and other close relatives, and during times of celebration. I attribute this to my own personality and upbringing. I fall victim to thinking "inward" instead of "outward", and that makes me lonely/sad.

yes I have on many occasions. I can be lonely in a group of 1 (me) small groups or large groups. I just never seem to fit in anywhere. No matter how hard I try I seem to be left out.
