need to know alot more details. if they provided the drugs then probably a very long time if not life. if the drugs were passed around behind their backs then no time if they took reasonable precautions to supervise. you can't prevent everything from happening. where is the responsibility that the 14 year old had. at 14 she or he knows what is right and wrong.

That would depend upon whether the girl obtained the drugs prior to, or during the party.

Too many unknowns to be able to give a list of applicable charges and minimum/maximum sentencing for those charges.

I suggest this plays out in the court and then there will be an answer when all the facts and testimony are in.

A responsible adult would know if there were drugs at a party and dispose of them. A responsible adult would know each party goer and their parent(s) along with emergency phone numbers so a responsible adult wouldn't be charged with the death of a child dying due to ingesting drugs. Ask this question again and add *ir* to the word responsible and you may get your answer.

Would be hard to prove criminal charges, unless the adult
had prior knowledge of the drug useage in her house and did nothing to stop or prevent it and did not notify the police.

She would be liable in civil court.

it would depend if the girl had taken the pills in front of the adult if the view was obstructed then the adult should not be at fault.
