I would for go Fargo. That's way too much snow for me and it's too damn cold. I'm looking for a place that's no more than 70 during the day with evening temperatures above 40 year round. Know of such a place?.
Maybe. But I wouldn't go that far.
Kinda used to the weather of the north. There are many days here that it gets -40°F with wind chill
I've lived in colder places - had as much snow --> why not?
I would not even go near it, summer temps in winter is just my favorite thing....can anyone blame me? I don't need a heating blanket in my winter locations......
I would watch it anytime ;)
Yes and what is fargo?
Anybody hear of Fargo, ND? Is it a big city or little? Anything exciting to do there?

Deming, New Mexico.

Ha. That's a joke right?. Temps there in the summer can reach triple digits.
by level headed on November 22nd, 2009
No, I have been there in summer, the elevation is 4400' as far as I remember ( on the Colorado Plateau), that makes it moderate temps for this city in winter and hardly triple digits in summer. I habe been in Florence, AZ, last summer ( south of Phoenix), we had 120 degrees for 42 days straight. Matter of fact, we will be in Deming in summer 2010.

level headed, if you want an ideal place to live, I can recommend any of the 122 Hawaiian Islands. I lived on two of them (Oahu, then Maui) from 1981-92, and the climate is superb, even though the prices are not.

+6 for your comment.

And, New Mexico is an ideal place to live, especially in Santa Fe or Taos. Avoid Lourdsburg and Piedmont.

I have also been in Santa Fe - wonderful city and outlook onto the mountains. Also have been at Lake El Vado. What a landscape!

Yes indeed! No wonder aliens from another planet chose to crash their spacecraft there.

We have been in the Roswell Museum - and I must say I am very intruiged by this whole alien stuff. Dieter and I saw things in the sky we cannot believe having seen it. We also have been in Carlsbad Caverns - out of this world on beauty. And being in the middle of White Sands lets you thing being on another planet. We passed also Area 51......

"Area 51" is in Nevada.

Yes, we travelled a lot in the 4-corner states that I sometimes cross a border in error .............
by Whitehair on November 22nd, 2009
Nevada isn't a "4-corner state," my dear friend.
.
Those states are Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.

I better go to bed now. It seems we saw too much - hahaha! I even have a picture standing directly on the center of the 4 corners monument. Thing is, I see television, talk to Dieter, and write here, all at the same time.....Excuses, excuses.....
