Don't think of it as in hours..more of in weeks or months..it takes time to develop the body..dedication is what will get you results..if you were to develop the body in hours then it would also be lost in hours..
You should be wary of over-training or this will cause you problems in the development of muscle tone and bulk..

It depends how fat you are.
The fatter you are, the less any muscle you put on will show...
If you are skinny every single bit of muscle you put on will show...
I'd say whatever shape you are, 2 months working out 3 days a week (for an hour or so) providing you eat right, sleep right and do the excercises correctly, is enough for anybody to start showing results.
Of weightlifting simply noticed of results - nonsense!
