Is it ethical for a doctor to object to a pharmasist disclosing the potential side-effects of a medication a patient has been prescribed?

    I'm not sure it's a breach of ethics, but he/she is stepping past the boundary of the two professions. The pharmacist is the drug expert and drug info/education is his job.
