Have you ever followed up on one of those "money back if you're not satisfied" guarantees? How did it go? Did you get your money back?

i did and i got a 100% refund and a coupon for another free one which i found ironic since i was not happy with the product to begin with; it was some cleaner but i forget the name, it is no longer on the market.

You will certainaly get your money back.
.
They rely on the fact that most, even if dissatisfied, will not go to the hassle of sending it back.
.
A lot of them also do not include the cost of the return postage in the offer, so once you deduct that, there may not be any purpose in returning the item.

No, but technically, they have to give you your money back if that's what they advertise. They really don't have much of choice. They can get into trouble otherwise, it's false advertising, (unless there is something in the fine print).

But I have seen many horror stories about people trying to get their money back on something and only when a TV station got involved or a newspaper got involved did that happen. Some companies stall and stall and stall and hope you will go away! :)
