My 2 yr old son is so attatched to me that he won't leave my site without having a melt down and he constantly rubs my face. He says to me constantly mommy I need to rub your face and I lean down so he can get his fix. Even in the car as I'm driving.

He may be too young, but take him to a therapist a psychiatrist
he needs to be involved with other kids his age.
He's so attached to you because there is no-one to interact with.
    That's my advice

    Seperation anxiety

Teary and tantrum-filled goodbyes are a common part of a child's earliest years. Around the first birthday, many kids develop separation anxiety, getting upset when a parent tries to leave them with someone else.

Though separation anxiety is a perfectly normal part of childhood development, it can be unsettling.

Understanding what your child is going through and having a few coping strategies can help both of you get through it.

    Yarnlady is happy every day

Discuss this behavior with his pediatrician. The doctor might have some idea what is causing this and what to do about it.

dont let him!!!! its hard to here him cry but you eventually have to teach him he doesnt get everything he ants in life, and also not to have an addictive personality. dont let your child be the boss of you!! You are the parent, not his drug dealer.

<<<MINUS 5?! REALLY?! THIS ADVICE COMES FROM BOOKS WRITTEN BY DOCTORS>>>

You should practice leaving him. Are you bothered by the face rubbing? That does sound very strange, and unnecessary. If you let him get his way now, it will be harder to change his habits later.
