Unless you are pertaining to IronHead's answer or do you mean, what does this mean as to appose the media attention?? If it is because of the media attention. Your answer is Jimmie Johnson has made history by being the first driver in NASCAR's Primary Series (today known as the "Sprint Cup Series") to win 4 championships in a row. Even the great Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt, Bobby Allison (just to name a few) never accomplished in there career. Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt might hold the record for most championships (7), but they have never won FOUR in a row. The closest was Cale Yarbourgh with 3 back in 1976, 1977, and 1978.

Many reasons..
The team has lots of money.
Have excess to some of the best engine makers etc.
Jimmy is a great driver.
Jimmy and his crew chief meld very well.
Great pit crew.
Experience.
Just to name a few. I say he has it locked in, but sure would liked to have seen Mark Martin take it.
Aren't you ashamed of that GAP between your teeth?? I guess that's something that you'll have to overcome!!
