absolutely.
I think it is. If it is not it should be.

Yes as it should be! Makes me wonder about a 20 year old guy that can't date women his own age...
It's illegal and inappropriate... Wait until you are an adult. I have nothing against age-difference unless a minor is involved.
yes!
derrr. of course it is.
It is not illegal as long as he doesn't sex you. As long as the parents are ok with it there are no problems with dating.
I really want to kiss my boy friend, but I don't know how to tell him.

Try JackStain... he posted a comment on my answer. And I got DR'd... Coincidence?
by BabyRottie on November 24th, 2009
Because it is not illegal to date anybody. Only sex is illegal. I DR all the incorrect answers. Sorry.

Your wrong Jackstain if the difference in years is only three it's legal, if it is three years and one day it is illegal, the question examples is up to six years. Example from one state CA.:
http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=19
In my state MA., it must be a five year difference, we are still a six according the question.
So before you troll around and DR everyone, do your research.

BTW Jack, it's also illegal in Texas.
by deltabtry on November 24th, 2009
That page was a history of federal income, not sure how that would apply to dating.
.
Laws don't intervene with dating or friendship. As long as the parents are ok, then there is no problem. Sex, on the otherhand, is illegal.
by Nutsy_Rail on November 24th, 2009
here is the example and all states are realitively close in the state laws, with just a few years seperating the differences between states..

States can and will intervene even if a complaints even comes from a third party, that said states law authorities are not necessarily looking to intervene but, the authorities have every right to if they wish. In most states you are a minor in the eyes of the law until you reach either 17 or 18.
There is been numerous cases in MA. where the parents consented that their daughter could date a adult. Not only was the boy friend charged but the parents lost custody of their daughter.
The problem with you assertion is that there isn't any law, which means a adult can date a 6 year old, this is why there is a law in just about every state. The exception perhaps West Virginia, Kentucky and Tenn.

so it is not illegal. thank you.
