    No, physics is the study of motion, forces, and the physical laws that govern our universe. Astronomy deals solely with extraterrestrial phenomena (i.e. outer space).

    Physics is the science that deals with matter, motion, energy and the four basic forces.

    Astronomy is the science that deals with the Universe…outside the atmosphere of earth.

    Astrology, on the other hand was probably the first attempt at astronomy; it was a failed attempt resulting in complete poppycock.
