This is gonna be a tough one as the factory hasn't made parts for that truck in decades. Most of the time you'd need a donor vehicle to swap over most of the parts you'd need. Starting with the foundation of a vehicle is the frame. The frames of a 2wd and a 4wd are NOT the same and you'd have to do a ton of welding, and fabricating to make yours work. If you want to spend upwards of 20k to make yours a 4X4 go ahead. Or just sell it and buy one that's already outfitted that way.
The other war is to fine a later 4X4 truck and remove the body and fabricate body mounts to mate the and body to a modern chassis. The benefits would be a modern, more responsive engine/overdrive transmission, steering, and brake combination

You're reading I have a 64 chevy 3/4 two wheel drive and want to make it a 4x4 i just don't know were to start i need a little direction to sites or if anyone has done this it would be a big help.
